Get Involved

There are many ways you can support the work of the Great Lakes Children’s Museum and The Curiosity Place, including bringing friends & family to us when they visit!

Become a Volunteer!

Volunteering at the Great Lakes Children’s Museum is a rewarding way to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. As a nonprofit, we rely on dedicated volunteers to help create a fun, engaging, and educational environment where curiosity and creativity can thrive.

By volunteering, you can:

  • Inspire young minds through hands-on learning experiences
  • Gain valuable skills in education, customer service, and museum operations
  • Connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for community service
  • Earn volunteer hours for school or work programs
  • Be part of a mission-driven organization that brings joy and learning to families

Opportunities are available for ages 13 and up. Check out our Volunteer Sign-up page to see how you can get involved! Or email impact@glcm.org to learn more.

Become a Donor!

The Great Lakes Children’s Museum relies on community support to provide hands-on learning experiences. Admission and store sales cover only half our costs—the rest comes from grants, fundraising, and donations. We recognize donors online and in the museum. Check out our donor opportunities from individual to corporate to legacy planning!
