We had our son’s 4th birthday party at the Museum and it was perfect! We were able to decorate the room the way we wanted, open presents and eat the food we brought in, followed by a lot of time to explore and play in the exhibits. He was very pleased and so were we! Highly recommend!

Parties get exclusive use of the party room during their reservation time (including setup and cleanup!). 40 free guests admissions are included with the reservation (includes party organizers). If you’d rather have the whole Museum to yourselves, book an after-hours party! After-hours parties get exclusive use of the entire Great Lakes Children’s Museum, from the Great Lakes Room to the Galleries. 60 free guest admissions are included with the reservation (includes party organizers). To book, click the link below, select and your date. Evening parties are two hours long, with a 30-minute setup time starting at 4:30.
Now when you reserve a party with us, you will have the option of adding decorations and party favor bags that follow one of four themes. With just one click, you can turn your future fête into a Vroom Vroom Party, a Jurassic Jamboree, a Stellar Space Blast or a Fairytale Festivity!
When you reserve your party with us, simply select a theme. Then select whether you would like to add decorations or party favor bags or both. For each selection, let us know how many you need. Decorations are priced per person; favors are priced per bag.
Because we know party planners can be particular, we’ll place the decorations in the party room, ready for you to arrange when you arrive. Included in each decoration package is a backdrop, a banner, decorations for your cake table, 4 tablecloths, and enough cups, plates, and flatware for you and your guests. Party favor bags will include an assortment of themed toys and goodies. They will be assembled and waiting for you in the party room on the day of your party
