Field Trips
PRICING: $5.00 per student with a minimum of 10 students
Groups with students in kindergarten and younger get 1 free adult for every 3 students.
Groups 1st grade and older get 1 free adult per 5 students.
GROUP SIZE: We can accommodate up to 120 with adequate supervision. We require groups over 60 to add a program component for their group. Any group size may add a program.
PROGRAMS: Programs cost an additional $2 per child. Programs to choose from:
Interactive Story Time: Choose from a selection of books that illustrate science concepts appropriate for young children and involve interactions with students.
The Incredible Journey: A set of experiences about watersheds. Students play games, create sculptures, create an art project, and investigate the science of watersheds.
Summer Camps
Join The Curiosity Place for your summer adventures! We offer the Drop-off Exploration Camps that feature the latest and greatest STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) program series! Each 3-hour camp will take a deep dive into a different topic on select Thursday mornings this summer. With activities like rocket-launching, Sasquatch-searching and art-adventuring, we’re offering a camp for virtually every interest.

Mobile Museum
The Great Lakes Children’s Museum’s Mobile Museum is a hands-on learning festival on wheels! Exhibits and activities can pop up anywhere! The Mobile Museum is a way to learn and play around the Grand Traverse Region outdoors in parks and playgrounds. Join us for a Children’s Museum experience without the walls!

Tuesday–Saturday: 9:30am – 4:30pm

Under Age 1: Free
Active Duty Military & Dependents: $3 discount (up to 8 per visit)
